It's sad and I wish they didn't either but to them who don't know about that world, earning so much money and changing that much in a month is very hard. Especially after they've suffered for years due to his old self. Poor Seol though I hope they manage to see he's changed and gets their trust back.
It's a redemption arc which wasn't witnissed by those the MC has done wrong which makes the ending justified. To us, he changed. But to his family, he just came back as if what he's done wrong could be changed by the money he brought. And he mistreated his ex, left with an ambigious sorry and came back as if, yeah, he just joined the Black Market. Plus, he just gave up from trying to prove himself once.
Well, your ex who yelled at you and scammed you for money that he spent on gambling just came back after a month with a ton of money and no way to explain it. The girlfriend is in her right mind, but just doesn't know the whole story.

I can't believe everyone treats him like shit even after he tried so hard to make things better. Especially his ex girlfriend how could she even talk to him like that ..I hope the next season's coming soon.
