Don Juan means playboy, like a Casanova. Someone who is good looking and charismatic and seduces many people.

Wait really? There's a well known story in my country where the main character is called "Don Juan" and he has so many girlfriends, now I know why.

If you're from Spain, then that story is the origin of the expression. It's like calling someone "Adonis", it's because of the greek myth of Adonis

Actually I am not from Spain but my country was colonised by Spaniards for 3 centuries. The story I was talking about was "Ang Ibong Adarna" l, a 16th-century Filipino epic poem. It is about an eponymous magical bird and the main character named Don Juan.
