well i mean haruto's family is powerful and rich and full of alphas so while kiyo's family may be too it could become extremely complicated and possibly more dangerous for uke even more so once he became pregnant which is why kiyo was trying to get intel on insider info within the lab - uke was already drugged and thrown into a dangerous situation with haruto without anyone knowing
Haruto seemed like he was stalling so he could help his friends despite the fact that he loved Kiyo but like to what end? Bc the plan started as one thing and now I don’t even know what he’s trying to do anymore. Does he?! And why did Kiyo and his mate just so easily accept their circumstances like police don’t exist? They never even showed them having any thoughts of fighting against the situation or trying to escape smh.
