So maybe it's because you haven't picked it up or realized how manipulative Mr. Han is. He knew that Paramus has feelings for him and emotionally manipulated him by throwing shade that Param is gay even though Param didn't want anyone to know he's gay on work. It's not healthy and it's toxic. Maybe he's finally wanting to change though but I think most of the readers prefer Hwi because Hwi is boyfriend material. He's straight forward and honest, that's what makes him best boi
If we're talking manipulation and ppl are using that to justify their hate then its very hypocritical since hwi's and param's relationship started with manipulation. Hwi flat out tells param in the beginning that if he doesn't take his classes and pays him double that he'll tell the work place he's a pervert and try to get him fired. That's what starts it. Then hwi takes advantage of params unstable emotional state when he's drunk after he just had a convo with han and gets him off. Hwi uses params lack of sexual experience due to being a virgin and coaxes him to let him help him ejaculate. This was after we learned that hwi was taken advantage of at his old job and was made to do sexual favors and because of lack of power and control he's basically projecting that onto param. This time he will be in control takes advantage of param and thinks "Now he's my toy." Talk about manipulation. If people want to hate on han for something that was the foundation of hwi's and params relationship then they are very biased. They're only siding with hwi because he was first, he confessed, had sex, and has a tragic back story giving them justification within their mind. If hwi is boyfriend material then so is han because at this point by everyone's logic they're two sides of the same coin. Its like ppl are trying to justify the lesser of two evils but they're blinded at the fact that they're both the same, they just think one has more reason, has hidden it so well, and is attractive enough to warrant their favor.
Hwi's and Param's start is actually that cliche yaoi and it's very wrong, however you can see Hwi's character development as he starts to realize that Param isn't even close to the conceited people he knew. He starts caring for him. He starts being honest with him.
He was honest about his desires when he realized his feelings UNLIKE Mr Han who knew it for so long but he played with Param because he wanted Param to be the first to confess to him which is hard for Param since he's a closeted gay. Mr. Han even used a substitute who he almost suffocated with a pillow because he wanted to fuck Param so bad. But he gets bothered once he realized his plan is going to get destroyed by another party - Hwi, so he starts opening himself to Param and in the Rawson, they fucked after Mr. Han told him his tragic backstory.

It's fine. We have different perspectives. I don't even hate Mr Han, I just don't ship him with Param. Maybe he will have his own guy on the story.
Honestly tho, did I miss something? I don't think Han is that bad unless he really doesnt feel anything for param. Was there a chaprer i missed where he liked raped him or something? I feel like ppl just hate on han cus they like hwi, which i understand why youd like hwi, hes a whole catch but their relationship did start out with blackmail, and han hasnt done that to him, so im still confused on the hate. Is it cause he had a sex w benefits friend who he was tryin to use to stand in for param? I mean they both consented, and are adults so I don't see the issue. Its not like han and param are in a relationship yet, and han has already broken it off with that guy by this point. No hate, just generally curious why people want Han's head and hate him so much?i dont care who param ends up with as long as theyre happy, cus ive seen way worse love rivals so this would be fine either way for me.
