It's as if the mangaka knew exactly how to trick us into thinking there would be a final antagonist at this very moment. But then like "Ha that's what you thought, dummies"
Yeah, right? It's like those gags with Ishigami wearing panties, or Shirogane hitting himself with a volleyball. The truth is completely different than what we assume. Mangaka knows how to subvert the expectations of a reader, and am I glad for that~.
(even if it's a 2-page gag (￣ ³￣))
