I know what you mean. I've had that happen quite a few times, where I hold off on reading something cause it looks bad and then I read it and think Damn.. should have read this sooner! ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Hai to Diamond stands out to me as my biggest "Why didn't I read this sooner?!" error. I was "turned off" because the summary said it was set in the US. It's not, and was a sexy-hot, action-packed and well written story. I loved it.
This manga would be #2 on that list. I literally "judged this book by it's cover" and regret it. I won't be doing that again. LOL
Ah.. I know that one! I also waited to read that one cause I thought it would be way to stressful. it was def a drama but so good!! and beautiful art! Like buddy system (I think that's the name) glad you mentioned it.

...I think, "nah this manga sounds dumb." I end up reading a wonderful and unforgettable story. This manga was so sweet and adorable. I'm really glad I decided to go against my initial thoughts.
