So iris is gonna become empress which is already pretty much clear in the story and she cuts her hair as a sign of new beginning and that she's letting go of the past.

So the duke is looking for his lost daughter and the biggest indicator is red eyes. Can someone explain if Iris brother (who has red eyes also) is also his son? Or did Iris mother also have red eyes? If she did then aren’t iris mother and the duke connected by blood (biological family) so they couldn’t have had kids together??
