I fully agree with you on this and also I blame the father just as much as I blame the step mom because I know he knew. Maybe not about the rape but I knew he had to have known something was going on and still did nothing about it. You cant tell me your son went from a cherry kid to soo gloomy and you didnt think something was up!
Idk what's gonna happen, but the father needs to throw her out. I don't care if she loves her son. What if he grows a bit older, around taichi's age when she started molesting him, and "feels lonely" again. Like if she did it once then she'll do it again. Maybe even to manato's friend or who knows.
