Okay, so our MC is in love with Emel, who in I think is also in love with her, but left her to become a Marquess thinking that if he became the Marquess, he would be worthy of her. But the thing is, nobody, nor Emel told her the reason why he left, so she was pretty devastated. I mean think about it. You confess to the one you love to the person you thought also had feelings for you, but then they reject you and make their appearance after months as the Marquess and also as the Princess's interest in partner. Not to mention the princess in obviously trying to get in our MC's way. So even though it's cute if Emel to become the Marquess in order to be more worthy of our MC, rejecting her and leaving her without any explanation would obviously hurt her.
