Well true marriage isn't just about having children. You can still be a family even without a child given if both parties already considers the possibility of it happening in the near future even before both of them jump in the context of marriage.
As someone else pointed out, harsh way to put it, but I don't disagree. As someone who's about the same age as our main couple, I can easily put myself in their shoes. A baby is more than just cute, they're a huge responsibility these two aren't quite ready for (as much as I want to see it). If I were to have a pregnancy scare now, I'd have a stroke. But then to find out I might struggle to conceive in the future? Would be heartbreaking/scary. The both of them are going through the ringer. But the one thing I don't doubt is their love, and it's sad people seem to be questioning that cuz they interpreted things differently.
Exactly, and that's why I think it's noteworthy to mention how Taehan's eyes lit up at the mention of marriage. No matter what their future holds, baby or no, they both want to spend it together. That said, they're still processing a lot of very sudden emotions at the moment. I can't wait to see how author continues this aaa
I didn't even think of some of the takes y'all are having about Taehan. I took it as he's upset at the thought of something being medically wrong with Doyun (i.e. his being unable to get pregnant - at least atm - instead of just him by chance not getting pregnant). I also thought they were implying Doyun is also upset about it. They're just both unsure how to process that feeling. It's all a shock to them. The whiplash of being worried that he'd be pregnant to bring worried if they'll be able to get pregnant in the future should they want to.
I think Taehan's eyes lighting up when Doyun mentioned marriage supports this too, because the root of their nerves is buried in worrying about their future together. It makes one thing clear: Taehan wants to spend that future with Doyun.
Anyways, I'm kinda confused why so many people are attacking Taehan for struggling to process the rollercoaster of emotions. I'm looking forward to seeing the boys consider their future together seriously ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
