I found this ver interesting. It was not the traditional love story, sure. But I don't think that was what the author wanted. To me this is a story about lust and attraction, rather than love. And a pretty damn powerful attraction at that. I didn't like it in the beginning, because I felt so bad for the main character. But I really came to like the way he changed as the story unfolded. He beam strong, more confident. This is the first time I have ever seen anyone thrive as a prostitute, and actually like the job. And let's be honest, he liked the job. I almost think he might end up liking it more than he does racing.
The uke does not like losing even if he has to be a prostitute. He really loves his racing to the extend of becoming a prostitute which is admirable. I like mangas which leave me with a warm feeling like kobi no kyoujin witch is cruel passionate manga.
