Honestly, I was thinking that as well. What would Hart do/say if, due t o his avoiding Jasper since Jasper won’t hold hands anymore, it is the “final straw” and Jasper gets really depressed and either becomes suicidal himself, or at least LOOKS like he has suddenly become suicidal? If that happened and THEN Hart found out that Jasper found out about HIS suicidal thoughts, would it snap Hart out of it by making him realize what his suicide would put Jasper and the others through? Cause I very much doubt that Hart would want Jasper to kill himself, and NOT just because he would lose access to his supply of “bad luck,” but because he really does care about Jasper.
What’s worst is that, due to my own history of depression and suicidal tendencies, I keep expecting the worst outcome and to suddenly see a Tragedy tag appear. It triggers my anxiety, but I just can’t stop reading it. A testament to how well the story has been crafted in my opinion.
I was thinking the same about him becoming suicidal and it snapping Hart back to the reality and weight of it.
I get you mate, I already have suicidal tendencies and I'm not plagued with never ending bad luck. I don't know how Jasper manages because I would not have been able to cope with a life like that.

ugh I want Jasper to be exactly like this but before Hart realizes talks about it Jasper goes missing and he is assumed dead like...YESSSSSS and then Hart sees how everyone is affected but wait Jasper is alive

I wonder what Hart would do if Jasper broke down. He's always so positive despite his circumstances but imagine another terrible bad luck thing happens and then Jasper can't take it and is depressed and dangerously numb.......... Kind of want to see it ngl
