Horikoshi in a interview or something apparently recently commented that he's planning on concluding mha soon. So yeah, just like you I assumed we were only halfway through the series but apparently not. It's a shame because I feel like there was still so much certain characters had to offer. I feel like this arc came too soon tbh. :/
It feels like we are heading towards the end. And it unexpected since I thought we are only about halfway through. But the Nomu will free Afos real body (even though his body doesn't look to good anymore so I don't know what he'll do about that) and the final battle will happen between him and deku. Until then we will find out about the Todoroki past, unlock the rest of dekus quirks, clean the image of the hero society OR completely abandon the idea of a hero society after all. And last but not least find out about the bonus secret (now or after the final fight). I don't think there is much coming anymore.
Also, This is just my Idea but I still have this feeling that Endeavor might rewind Touyas body but that would put him back to the age of about 12 years. So he would also forget everything up until now. Idk seems weird and it's probably against human rights soo.. Probably not lol. But something tells me Touyas Body will be healed somehow.
