i do think that it's not nice to ruin someone's dreams for your own interest, in jinyao's case, he doesn't want rourou to get exposed. but given yiyun's poor acting before and uncle he's not so good producing skills, i don't think yiyun will achieve anything even without jinyao blocking. as for him not wanting yiyun to be associated with the other guy anymore, i do think it's appropriate just like what yiyun said. i'm actually more worried about jinyao influencing yiyun's success. i mean, it's still all thanks to yiyun's hardwork but he still did influence it. i can't recall if it's been addressed already or it would be another issue in the future.
An actor grows up through acting, but if he gets shut out, that growth in acting, action, and also reputation does not happen. No one is born a superstar, or popular. So the reason YunYi fell behind for SO MANY YEARS is because of JinYao. Exposure also means new chances for YunYi, every actor just needs a chance to catch the eyes of someone. That's how the industry works.

I somehow missed the part about fengfeng shutting YiYi out in the beginning. So FengJinyao was responsible for YunYi NOT growing up as an actor whereas Uncle He was trying his best to keep YunYi's career afloat. What I hate the most is "for your own good" reason used by someone to break someone's dream or put them down. I do not approve of FengFeng now for he did not discuss things with YiYi before going to MuMu. YunYi is a grownup ffs! If FengJinyao explained to him he would've understood!
