You want the person you like to like you back, to treasure you, and only have eyes for you. Its upsetting,it hurts ,when they like someone else. Thats what he meant ,and thats true. When people dont meet our expectations its upsetting. We hurt.
I understand what you said, and I completely agree after all we all want the person we love to love us back and care about us, it’s that something feels off about the way he expressed it, like as if haesoo should not be able to love someone else rather than taku, he shouldn’t reject taku's feelings and that he must be with him even if he didn’t return those feelings, it’s like he is only there to fur fill taku's needs, and behave how he wants him too, it’s that phrase that made me believe that taku doesn’t care about haesoo as a lover someone who he should cherish and love, but more like a possession that he shouldn’t loose at all cost...anyways I just wanted to point that out, no hate towards taku, although I think that he needs to work on his personality more, other than that everything you said was completely true ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I think its often the case with people who tend to be the ones who are aloof and reject others that they feel entitled to the person they like, once they end up finally liking someone. In Taku's case fear took over, and he is right, Haesoo is not coming back to him but he was never really committed to Taku anyway. It wouldn't work out no matter what. This is a very realistic situation. Relationships are difficult. That being said,Id love to read a story about Taku finally finding the right relationship.

I don’t know if the translator misinterpreted that, but if that’s actually what he said than something is very wrong with him, like honey he is human, you don’t even think about your pet in such repulsive way, let alone the person you like, haesoo is untitled to behave however he wants, he is a human being with a free will, he is old enough to make his own choices in life, he is not gonna have some narcissistic two-faced guy run his life in his place, so this guy might have to know a little bit more about relationships, cause that’s not how it goes in real life （￣へ￣）
