Im not so sure either but my guess would be she was in an unwanted marriage and now have unwanted kids who happened to keep dying or dude had a lot of wives and her actual child died maybe (she of course got rid of the mistresses)

I'm not sure either, it might be the case as you said. Honestly they'll seem to hate each other lol why bother bringing children to life if you're gonna hate on them and even not want to give them the family name ( the dad is hostile towards his own children as i noticed)

Why does his mother hate him? Is he not her real son? Or maybe she just prefers other children? Although he clearly said she's doesn't like them too so why? I can understand why siblings may hate him because of the family name and all but why the parents?
