I have read the novel and his actions will all be explained later and the reason he did what he did. Let's just say it's a long ass ride.
I feel like even when it's revealed I'll still dislike the ML. His actions can't be excused at all. Well to be frank even if he does apologizes I'll only dislike him less but not entirely.
Actually i agree with that since the whole rape and toxicity really through the line for me and i was close to dropping it but when i read the novel CHILEEEEE it’s just too much like it’s a whole rollercoaster rides all of these plot twists. Plus at least they’re showing growth so even though his actions are unforgettable i can at least slowly forgive him since he is changing and he isn’t much of a bad guy.

This story would have been great if they plucked out the obsessiveness, toxicity and rape. Seriously, it ruins the whole thing. Did the ML even ever apologize of what he's done to her? I hope he does. Honestly, if something bad ever happens to the ML I'll be glad since it's karma. But overall it's nice to see how much their relationship improved. He trusts her more and controls her less (and it seems like she's the one controlling LMAO).
