No but think about it.. wasn't the ending just all in his head? Afterall There can't be a save camp since you have no idea who will turn into a monster. Also his desire is being with the people he cares about? So the last chapter was probably just his desire playing out in the imaginary world the virus created for him. He got what he wanted after revealing desire and turning into a monster. The author always ends his manhwa's like this.. The ending is whatever you want it to be.. a good or bad one

Finished watching the netflix series although I read the webtoon first. But at that time it wasn't completed and I stopped around chapter 110.
However, even with the lack of memories of the original source, I knew the ending was going to be different than the webtoon, some bits of the netflix series has been westernized. The fact that it ends with an open ending and the possibility of having a new season...
So I reread the webtoon again and found out that both are actually good. Though I prefer the webtoon because it have more explanation on just about everything and Hyuk has more personality here. Or maybe I'm biased? Idk.
However, if I can. IF I have the authority. I will delete the last 2 chapters lmao. Should have ended it the way it is. It really doesn't make sense how he can have emotions. Seems like a dumb move. But ofc, this are all personal, you don't have to agree.
