i wouldnt say hungergames cause the concept of sponsers and stuff dont seem to be the big pisture of this
It kind of is, remember in hunger games, having a sponsor could save your life and here too, the main reason most of them survive is thanks to sponsors
yeah not to mention the whole story is just basically them being watched live by these sponsors thru a channel and having them send “gifts” to their chosen candidates(?) (which sponsors in the hunger games also did) in the form of coins to aid in their survival

i’ve been holding off on reading this for the longest time and i didnt expect it to be THIS good lol this is basically just inspired by the concept of hunger games with all the sponsors watching the tributes fighting/killing each other in order to survive each day, but in this story the characters have skills/powers lol
