I think the giant whale said something along the lines of sending fishes to the land for carnivores since it's also meat but im not 100% sure.

Louis said that carnivores need meat, and that people should look at the Back Alley Market. Then, everybody destroyed the Back alley market. So where is meat coming from now? I would like to know. ; - ;
Also I thought it was really strange that Gouhin barely played a role in the 2nd arc...As a resident of Back Alley Market, I think he would have opinions about all of that
