That's probably because he's not really human. I mean his birth mother was artificially created to conceive and produce an exceptional 'alpha'. His abilities are far greater than normal humans. So for someone who haven't had a meal for 4 days he just passed out.

I think it might be because he is an alpha, but you can survive up to 3 weeks without food and 3-4 days without water (some articles say a week, usually for people towards the end of their lives when they cant intake water and food).
yes my main concern was how he had no water. i know you can survive pretty long without food.
