Well that’s smart for me
╮(￣▽￣)╭ although I’ve always done pretty good in a lot of things, I’m dumb af :) I wouldn’t be able to get results just by paying attention to my surroundings and the situation I’m in.

Same here just bc I’m paying attention doesn’t mean I’ll realize those things are important. First off I have a bad memory when it comes to remembering what ppl have said if I don’t find them important enough. So if I was in his position I’d either have took a while to figure out what the true purpose of the test was, wouldn’t know what to say in dire circumstances, or just plainly combust from overthinking and think the solution was something completely off.
For all the people saying the MC is smart. No he isn't, he just pays more attention than you to what the people are saying. If you pay attention while reading instead of scanning the manga quick you'll realise most of the things.
