ikr! i've dealt with clingy people before and it just makes it worse the more you try to make yourself look "pitiful" i makes me want to get away more but it's hard to say it upfront so i get why she won't say f off
because like... they aren't strangers and she promised to listen to him earlier? like are people not entitled to their feelings? he's not manipulating her or anyone, doesn't know anything that's going on or why she's suddenly leaving their arranged hang out for another guy (in his mind).
i don't mean specifically this scene and neither was og but rn yes i understand this situation is different because he does not know but other than that the other times were annoying

well it's because they aren't strangers that she owes her more time and explanations for his actions. if they weren't close and he was this clingy it would be a different story. that's why i said they weren't strangers. people are acting as if they don't have a history and a relationship that makes it okay to expect and want certain things - communication and time.
