Same, I was confused too. It felt like the season 1 ended too sudden and felt rushed. But I think the mc and seunghcan already start dating when the mc meet again Sihoo for the first time in the cafe (y'know the one with 1 year later chapter epilogue?). It's just sad that they didn't show it how he confessed and got together.
I was confused as fuck when season 2 started like uhh (shit bro I literally just finished reading this and I can’t even remember the boyfriends name.... well anyways) the boyfriend and myunghan they started dating all of a sudden, if I remember correctly there was no confession and for Sihoo, this mf turned out to be alive. My ass was confused but I still read it. The story was nice and the characters were nice too ╮(￣▽￣)╭
