this is also true. The size of KS' fanbase is absurd. All you gotta do is tell them this BL is KS v2 and they'll eat that shit up. I guess you could say that KS revived those genres and in a way, became a gateway into BL for a lot of readers.
it's really not. But i found that KS' fans (esp the rabid ones) are more fetishizers of abuser-abusee relationships than fans of thriller horror BLs. I mean have they read Interview with a Murderer and Black Mirror

You have to understand that this isn't a simple perpetrator-victim turned deranged lovers story; this is a story of utter depravity caused not just by individuals in high places but also by individuals stuck in a rock and a hard place.
