Well, there is a strong stigma in the word "fujoshi", whatever is or not justified, if it bothers you that much don't use that word to identify yourself, there is really no need, it's up to you
There is no harm in just reading, however, you will have to be critical of the toxic tropes and reflect in the things you read, and of course, never harass someone in real life.

Being a fujoshi isn't inherently bad, since it simply means girl who enjoys reading BL. The problem comes with the people who take BL's fictional logic (e.g. there is always a seme/top and a uke/bottom) and push it onto real life gay men. liking/reading BL isn't bad, but being obsessed to the point where you start bothering people in real life because of that is extremely problematic.
I don't see it as a bad thing if you are not fetishizing BL that is NOT OK! And in all honestly I Straight stories the same as BL only thing really different is BL are both male
I enjoy reading Shounen-ai and yaoi, though my friend said that it's bad to be a fujoshi? What are your opinions, is it actually bad? Or at what point does it become a problem?
