I remember seeing korean historical drama, where the maids used a certain oil mixtures for the hair at the front so it stay flat, tight and neat, just like this, usually its for the noble ladies. And for the guy hair as well when they were tied up in a knot, they applied those oil mixtures to the back hairs so it stick together and doesn't have loose hairs poking out.
Her clothes. No weirdly showing cleavage... No short skirts.. No lots of skin showing...
I feel it's super contradictory in most murim/martial arts comics... like... robes and traditional clothing and advertising "virtues and chastity and purity" for the woman... but they are all drawn using revealing clothes and even fighting in high heels like... Dude. That sheet is hard to even run with and you think a woman would fight in it? No matter how strong or outgoing no girl woud like a boobpop or pantieflash... even more mid fighting...
So... she using flats and a fricking pants under her skirt won me over so much I'm willing to overlook how weird that hair looks without texture... xD
