totally right. For me Azusa can go fuck himself for being rapist and forceful asshole. Don't like him at all. Poor Kaede got himself into a guilt loop and gonna stuck in there (don't get how can anyone see this as a romantic relationship)
why Kaede is with Asuza, and you always feel it a bit, is psychological. He was raped by him, and kinda manipulated into marking him, now he is being subtly guilt tripped about how Asuza can never have any other Alpha than him and how he almost threw his life away cause Kaede left. And Kaedes trauma and thus his overly huge guilty conscience is never off when he is with Asuza. Sure, you can grow love for someone, by continuing to act in a way you act towards loved ones. That is what he did. He faked until he made it. Now Asuza is his full blown possessive toxic partner he always was, with confidence. I feel sad. Kaede was an alright guy and the fated pair thing may be a bit hmm cause it is like a force of insticts, but still, they matched well. Sure Kaede and Asuza look cute on the superficial, but it can never completely cover the underlying darkness of their partnership. With the fated pair Kaede would be "light". With Asuza he always feels "heavy".
