In his defense, Hart did warn him at the beginning that he simply wanted Jasper's bad luck. The problem arose when they started caring about each other and Hart didn't realise it, and thus didn't tell Jasper WHY he wanted the bad luck and didn't think about how Jasper would be affected by it all.

yea ik lmao I'm not trashing hart cos I feel for him but I always had some hope that he wasn't using him in the beginning and that jasper was misunderstanding but turns out he was (altho he did develop real feelings later), so it was just me being in denial lol
