It was a novel adaptation, but the author never finished the novel because she didn't like the storyline. This is a brand new plot per say.

and its probably this great because its a novel adaption i think? like we get character arcs and development and literally 2 relationships happened and now we see how everyone is growing. basically just so much plot and potential its delicious
