Almost all wealthy families sent thier children away to boarding school. Its how they make connections to other weathly children. If they can't do tutoring at home, send them off to where they can. Maybe being in an environment where her mother isn't there to poison her mind will alleviate the stress. As for the dad, out of sight out of mind.
Add in the fact that each nobles and rich people have estates and they tend to stay in their own land, so if they send their children to school to interact with other children, they cannot do it while commuting because of distance, and that is why most schools back then are boarding schools.
