I see a lot of ppl wanting a breakdown of the plot so here
Ho asked Taeho to hide their relationship while they're on campus. They seem content with the situation but both are spiraling.
Ho was raped in the past and in an abusive relationship, which has made him avoid all interaction with people, tho he was originally introverted his current behavior is the result of mad trauma. He doesn't really understand social cues and is very quiet which gets him massive hate from some people. He's trying to cut himself away from all possible harm so he doesn't even speak to Taeho about anything.
Meanwhile social butterfly Taeho can only function if he's thought of as kind. Can't say no and is really friendly, which makes him popular but is often treated as convenient and walked over. He kind of has a sense of claim? over Ho, thinking that he knows him best and is the only one who understands him and gets real shaken when Ho doesn't fall in line. Which results in mild outbursts of temper.
While ''mild'', they still are meant in part, to be punishment and have now caused a bad situation, seeing as Ho is in a rather terrible state.
