This is what I think it was: I think he came back because he assumed the other dude was married because of the ring, which is why he asked to take it off in the first place. Then when he's at the train station, he realized that the ring was on his hand and then realized how much the other dude liked him and also realized that the ring meant nothing at all (aka it didn't mean he was married).

Ok i see! Is stil think the end was a bit short and the sotry could have been more developed about that whole thing.
I got the fact they were in the same class and they both had feeling ect.. But i didn't understand the ring thing and why did he came back justy because of it. PLease enlight me
