They're all having dreamlike states, so I'm pretty sure they're all hallucinations/dreams.
If I were to compare to something, like if you're sleeping and go to the bathroom to pee from your bed but wake up to find you were actually still in bed lol.
Or when you're sleep deprived, and you experience dreamlike state of you doing something without actually doing anything.
Or I imagine to be when people have a fever and are dazed out and think they're doing something when they're just blanking at nothing lol idk
I think that's the kind of state these guys are put in, but to their surroundings, they're awake.
