Doesn't she know how fast some taste could change he could have loved desserts because of the original fl but he was hurt so she trying to make him eat something he is possibly somewhat emotionally traumatized towards would only grow his dislike for her that if she is correct and he would be thankful but that is highly doubtful since there is no reason for him to hide his love for sweets
