okay I was thinking the exact same thing. Like I was going to drop it from the get go but I wanted to see if either his sister or his friend would realize what was happening and help him. Since in the beginning he looked quite worried and scared. however instead they introduced a previous aggressor who has obvious predatory tendencies. Thereby giving not an excuse but a explanation behind his disgusting behavior. I still would have preferred a different ending, one with police involved. However take away the smut and this was actually interesting to read.

This actually weirdly makes a lot of sense, psychologically. I mean he basically explained it himself that he is trying to deal with his trauma by trying to make this random kid go through the same things, but there is also the fact that he has "no experience in love" which makes him seem almost childish and therefore feels like a way to justify the fact that Ren is a minor. I mean we do not know their real age difference and i am not even trying to judge or rate anything here but that's classical pedophile behavior and i wonder if the artist knew about that. Because if they did all that on purpose they must have put a lot of thought into this which therefore upgrades the quality of this book from reasonless angst porn to a quite interesting psychological look into trauma and sexuality :) I am very tired
