I did say “She’s kindhearted” so I do understand her side of the story and considering her personality as well, it makes sense but PERSONALLY I don’t completely agree with her actions.
İ said read again because in the first timeline Linden almost became mad for taking revenge, he never forgave himself for killing so many people and his sadness was 10x more strong and awful for him, İt's because she doesn't want to see him like that again that she's trying to stop the revenge, the revenge destroyed Linden
And İ don't remember the spoilers very well but Duke child will not have a happy ending

But the thing is, Elise is there for him this time so you don’t actually know if it’ll go the same route of him going mad
The possibility of that NOT happening should be considered but yes, again, I do understand her view
I just hope the author doesn’t go with the “Revenge isn’t the right way to go, they deserve a second chance” bullshit
No idea if this has a LN or not but yeah, let’s hope the uncle and his faction don’t get off easily
