haikyuu is my favorite anime and I totally agree with you, now I'm a multi-shipper but some ships I don't like, so the Hinata harem isn't my favorite thing in the world.
For real tho, I mean I do ship some of them but like, I don't do that 99% of the time. I feel like mostly of fans now only watched haikyuu to ship

I mean, people can ship whatever they want, just understand boundaries, I suppose? Most ships don't really make sense, but it's not hurting anyone if it's appropriate. Shipping has always been a huge thing tbh, and I doubt it will stop anytime soon.
