this pissed me off so bad. I already don’t like Rou in the first manga but I kept reading bcs yoshino is cute. this solidified my hate towards him omg.
he has more experience than yoshino there’s no way he’s that dense right? staying at another man’s place and saying the line. got me overthinking so if he were single he would choose that guy over yoshino? idk man.
I would understand if it’s yoshino who’s clueless about what’s right or not since it’s his first relationship. but even other characters understand it’s not a right thing to do in a relationship.
and the conflict-resolution just flat it’s kinda the author’s style but it’s even worse in this story. seme got told off casually to put yoshino in his situation and instantly realised it was wrong? you couldn’t figure out something that simple yourself? yoshino got drunk and never expressed his feelings to rou. like at least get mad at him a little.
idk rou in the first manga comes off as suave and someone who understand social cues more than yoshino but here it’s the opposite

can someone tell me the name of the manga at the beginning? the one with wolf guy?

Let me explain Chase’s brother’s personality. He is the worst. We know that they are not raised in a normal household so expect that they are crazy lol. Chase is the most normal among them. The reason why Chase hate dogs so much is because Grayson, told C that he “did” it with a dog because he’s gone crazy for having rut. Ofcourse it’s not true, but since C has a foggy memory of it and cant even find the person he slept with, he thinks he really did it with a dog.
Chase will soften after the incident where they were ambushed after going to the hospital (forgot why they went there as the translation’s a bit confusing/incomplete). Trying to escape, they reached secluded place and Josh basically saved C from coyote trying to attack them. C froze as he is scared with them and Josh got a lot of bruises there. After that they were saved and their relationship improves.
The rest of the group found out about Josh’s secondary gender. My memory is a bit cloudy here. Not sure what really happened but I think they wanted Josh to go home but Josh doesn’t want to end his connection with C. Since there’s only a few months before their contract I think they pretty much waited for it to just finished.
I guess there is no other big conflict about this?
Chase learned about his son I think 3 chapters before it ended lol. It’s pretty fast and I wanna see more of their bonding to be honest. When C found out Josh is the one he slept with (Josh told this as to assure C that he didn’t do it with a dog) and the first thing C said is, “Did I r*pe you?”
There is no SA/r*pe happened here both of them wanted to do it that’s why I like this more than the first story of author.
Last chapters are about Josh introducing his kid to C (Chase saved his kid when they lost him in amusement park. This serve as C’s first step on overcoming his fear with dogs)
is there some panels missing between chapter 9 to 10? why is there a sudden timeskip.
And I was confused why did adain’s guilt(?) or disgust, or whatever feeling he had after listening to the priest story wasn’t brought up again. like he even had nightmares about kid jonak about it. would’ve been nice if adain’s pov being explored more
the time skip is probably supposed to be like that, since they were living a happy life and the time skip would make iles death feasible
yeah i get that. but i wonder why the part about adain’s nightmares and him not sleeping in the same bed anymore was not addressed first
I double checked just now, there are no pages missing between those 2 chapters. It's like that officially for the time skip
Probably because adain had an avoidant personality and jonak doesnt really question much so they never really solved that issue. As for why adain stopped sleeping in the same bed, it’s probably guilt. He probably think he’s no different from the priest who took advantage of the orphan in need. He took advantage of jonak’s situation to ease his own loneliness.
that's how i interpreted it too. and the timeskip wasn't really that abrupt since we're talking about immortals and it's a bit SoL-y so i just assumed a bit of time was passing between each event
yeah I really wished the guilt was explored more though
I think they will explore it soon. Cos jonak is starting to feel curious.
Ya, I agree. I really liked how the author dealt with this issue. The pacing is just nice for their personality.
