1. She died as the hated Athanasia from Lovely Princesses
2. Was reborn as Athanasia the orphan with no memory of her past life. Lovely Princesses wasn't just a story but it was her history.
3. She died after taking sleeping pills and overdosing, reborn as Athanasia the princess once again but with her memories of her old life as an orphan along with her knowledge of Lovely Princess
When we first meet Lucas he notices this, it shows again when she is thinking of Ezekiel and she remembers something that hadn't happened in her current timeline, when Lucas is thinking about her (idk the chapter) but it showed the noose where she had died from being framed in her first life and the pills from her second life. Then once again when Lucas says she had passed through different times and such.
Poor thing has died twice, wasn't love in either timelines and as utterly alone, and because of her jerk uncle and his utterly useless daughter who isnt even his daughter she's had to experience her father's hatred in this timeline again.
Just throw them all away. ( ̄ε(# ̄)Σ

So here goes.
The main antagonist in the novel is not Cosette, but the father!
All the problems of the novel have one main cause, the father.
The first wife, Cosette's mother was slanderd and abused by followers of the second wife.
Yes the dipshit had two wives at onece.. First wife was favored so second wife's family tried to soil her reputation, even going as fars at to hire assasins and start rumors of her being infertile. (second wife was not part of any of this).
The father saw him self as a Neutral... Entety so he didnt intervein and let it all pass.
Finaly sending the first wife away for being infertile, not knowing she was pregnant.
First wife svares Vengenace on the household and makes a deal with a demon, in exchange for her soul the demon will destroy the household. Onece the contract is setablished the first wife dies and so does her child un benowns to her, as she hadnt given birth yet. The demon inhabits one of the children Cosette ( she was carrying twins one male and one female). The second child a boy is alive and plots vengeance (Cosette's brother). Cosette was never born so the demon inhabits her body = she was never a live. The brother makes a pact with the demon to take down the household.
The duke that introducses Cosette is actualy her twin brother after the pact with the demon... he is never seen again because all who make a pact with the demon dies not long after. (the demon changed him to look older for its revenge)
The father actualy never thought FL wasn't his child... but because he was Neutral he didnt wana change peoples minds or interfear with the rumors created by Cosette. .. What a prick.
Fl awakens her power but Cosette beats her to the punch with showing it of.. so everyone thinks FL is fake and a witch/ demon that will bring chaos and destruction at the age of 20... so they vote to execute her...
Cosette didnt actualy summon the water spirits, she just stole the ones FL summoned making fl and everyone think she awoke.)
The Neutral ashat of a father finaly desides to cast his neutrality out the window and votes yes to execute Fl... This despite knowing she is his daughter and not a witch..
The person who brings FL's soul back to her body 2 months before Cosette shoved up was.... The FUCKING FATHER... aparently with FL's death hell came to earth and Cosette was proven to be a demon.
The father desided to not resurect Fl, nope Fl comming back to life with her memores was just a happy accident... What the father was trying to do was send himself back to his past self with memories in tact to prevent the destruction of his household...
SO it was all to save his own ass...
The Spell was rushed and faulty, needing 2 strong magiciant to pull it off and the father being one of them. If the spell succeeded they would both be sent back but only one woould have the memories the other wouldnt. But Fl got her memores so the father only has fragments.
Cosette shoves up and father desides to rty playing father... letting Cosette and FL physicaly fight---Fl gets tired and leaves home with her brother to travel and abandones her father..
The dad is a selfish ahole why only turned back time to save himsel.. and Fl was brought back as a fluke..

Well, that viscount will be exiled and the duchess will go after him. She will ask for a divorce. The emperor will step back with his word for fear of what the Empress will do.
The Empress' brother will return to the kingdom. He's problematic, gets involved in fights and that's why he was sent away. He will discover that the Emperor is favoring Trashta and will be angry. He will threaten her and the bitch will pretend to be pushed by him. He will be warned. Hence, he will start investigating Viscount Roteschu to the point of kidnapping the Viscount and threatening him. In this, the Viscount will open his mouth and will tell the brother of the empress that Trashta already had a son. He just won't say that the son of Trashta is with the Son of Viscount Roteschu himself. Well, in that, the emperor and the empress are aware, but the wretched emperor will think that Trashta had her son ripped out of her arms and that she is a poor thing ... In that, he exiles the empress's brother.
Concomitant to all this, Prince Heinley is forced to return to his kingdom because his brother, who is king, is dying. He says goodbye but continues to send his friend, the one with the blue hair, to exchange correspondence with the empress. He is forced to find several women to marry, but he only thinks about the empress.
Alone, without Queen or Prince, the empress continues to do her duties. At all times the emperor asks her to recognize his son, even accusing her that she may be infertile, since she has been married for a while. He even mentions that if the empress is infertile, that she can take Trashta's son as her son and make him a prince.
She, smart as she is, tries to deviate as she can from this situation. The emperor asks her to give a gift to Trashta's son and she gives him a decorative sword. Slap Trashta in the face.
Then, the business gets more serious. The emperor mentions to Trashta that he wants to divorce the empress. His plan is to divorce the empress, leave Trashta for a year in order for his son to become a prince and enter the line of succession (at least that's what I understood).
The empress ends up listening to the conversation and knowing that the situation is complicated, she begins to think of a plan. In this, on one of her exits from the palace (there is a whole context of her leaving, but we must pay attention to the most relevant facts), she meets Heinley. And he mentions that he would like to find a wife like the empress or rather, that she, the empress, be his queen (Heinley's kingdom is a kingdom, not an empire).
The empress has already released one: Would you like to marry me?
And he soon accepts. But he finds it strange why she is married. She says she will tell him everything in letters.
Back in hell, the empress continues to receive the blue bird (Heinley's friend, with blue hair) and the emperor begins to suspect and discovers that Heinley and the Empress are communicating. To avoid this, he orders that any bird that is prowling the Empress' room must be killed.
To get an idea of the horror that will be, the empress will try to put a warning for the blue bird. The blue bird will confuse the signal and try to enter, being hit. The blood and blue feathers will be seen near the window and the empress will find that the bird has been slaughtered. The emperor will be so cruel as to send a bird stew with blue feathers as a decoration for the empress's horror.
But the blue bird will not be dead. The duke, a friend of Prince Heinley, will rescue the bird and be one of the intermediaries of communication between the empress and the now King Heinley.
Meanwhile, Trashta realizes that she is no better than the empress (did anyone have any questions?). Then the duke, a friend of Heinley's, will say that if she wants to beat the empress, she must study to be better than she. Then, she begins to study and is accompanied by the emperor. And he starts comparing her to Empress LOL. He tells Trashta that she should decorate a book in a week and she says that is impossible. He replies that the Empress did it in two days, making Trashta angry.
Trashta continues to make plans against the empress, always showing the emperor how cute and good she is while the empress is cold and mean. She continues to pay Viscount Roteschu and borrow money from the duke, Heinley's friend.
Well, the day comes when the emperor will make the empress humiliated: the day of the divorce. He claims that the empress attacked his son and other things to the High Priest. The High Priest, who had previously spoken to both emperor and empress, previously and separately, asks the empress whether she would accept the divorce or file a lawsuit in which she tried to defend herself against the charges. She says she accepts and asks the High Priest to approve her second marriage. At that moment Heinley appears, saying: now is it my turn to enter?
The High Priest is amazed, but he blesses the marriage and the Emperor is angry. He tries everything so that the empress does not leave the country, locking her and Heinley in her parents' house. He's a huge son of a bitch. He even tries to see in the old laws and records whether there was a possibility of annulling the empress's second marriage.
Anyway, it's a roller coaster of events ... There are other details in the plot like the possibility of infertility for the empress and the emperor. An unrequited love of the Grand Duke (one who has gray hair and spoke to the empress who does not understand how the emperor can receive another woman besides the empress) towards the empress. The case of the magicians' loss of powers ...
Sorry for English (not my mother tongue) ...

Arwin finds out that Peridot was behind the many, many, MANY, trying to kill Latte attempts (the super shiny and buff bald guys, and the beast) and he deals with her (she’s trapped in this never ending hallucination cycle and eventually dies) and her powerful family; Marquis Garnett is sentenced for treason and other charges and falls out of good graces with the rest of the nobility. Arwin confesses his feelings for Latte and surprisingly, Latte is over the moon! (Who wouldn’t!) In other manwhas, the MC who was reincarnated as a side character or a villain wouldn’t mess with the plot of the story and push the ML to fall for the “heroine” because that’s the plot, so I’m happy Latte is having her cute diva moment. Kenneth drops by her house and he confesses to her that he doesn’t like Ibelin anymore and he didn’t understand why he was attracted to her in the first place. Latte becomes his therapist as he’s venting to her and Latte is like “Yeah dude, you do what you want. You don’t gotta like her”. Latte drops her doll and Arwin appears and Kenneth is like “Y’all a thing?” Arwin places his hand on her shoulder and is staring down poor Kenneth. Latte barges in saying “Arwin, he’s my suitor/crush! And Kenneth is my friend!” So she’s declared it for Kenneth who dismisses himself and smiles. (His smile is sooo cute and I think he’s smiling because he’s an ArwinxLatte shipper lol). Can’t wait for the next chapter but I have an inkling that word will spread of Latte’s newfound relationship and Ibelin will find out.

I think I saw this in a comment from another user a few chapters ago, so I could be and they could be wrong, but the reason why MC is so in love with ML (even in her past life while reading the book) is because she’s actually been reincarnated 2 times! She and ML had the mark when they were children but she died early and for some reason the author of the book did not put her in because she died so early and was low key insignificant. So when she reincarnated to Korea (no memories), she still felt the pain of the mark (which is why she was so drawn to ML even through a book as she heard about his suffering that she wasn’t there to support him through). I don’t know why male lead doesn’t have mark now, but hopefully this clears up why some of y’all were wondering why MC was such a crybaby originally in a way :)
