i don’t know why people are saying mc just changed out of nowhere. he’s got nothing left for him and he’s mentally exhausted he’s going to cling to the next closest thing naturally, no? he lost the only person in his life he truly cared about and has truly loved him too so suddenly and practically right in front of his eyes. he’s in survival mode at this point everything he does really isn’t gonna make sense when he seems very obviously desperate now.
