Imagine a yaoi in which theres an alcoholic uke and a vampire who can taste the alcohol in his blood. And they make a deal based on mutual needs. That the vampire can drink his blood whenever he wants so long as it means the uke can drink as much as he wants. He's able to sober up each time his blood is drained. And this would be a perfect plan the vampire thinks. Except he begins to become addicted to the uke's blood. And worse, the more time they spend together the vampire is certain he's falling hopelessly in love with the uke. But when he discovers the reason the uke became an alcoholic after a broken heart, he finds it impossible to pour out his feelings to him. The uke has gotten used to him though and even feels like he can truly become a better person and overcome his drinking habit. Biut if that happens the vampire fears he won't be needed anymore. Still, the uke is the one he loves, so the vampire may even try to go through withdrawal from taking the uke's blood anymore. Idk just one of the many dumb romantic and angsty ideas I have. If anyone knows stories likes this, I'd love to read em. But uh thanks for coming to my ted talk :P

I don't mean where a character suddenly transforms into another gender because of some potion or curse or body swapping or anything like that. But just genuine representation of trans. Because trans men are men and trans women are women. I know that falls more on the authors to even want to make a character like that but still. And yeah I've seen some side characters that are trans but very rarely if any mc's. Idk just my thougts.

I feel the same. But i have to keep hoping that that will change. Even if it feels like it might not happen anytime soon. Even if I end up having to figure out to write it my own self. It's frustrating the lack of diverse representation in most mangas as it is. Im sure there's others that probably feel the same and maybe some authors just aren't educated on it enough or feel comfortable enough to try to do that but ugh it's definitely frustrating and sad when I think about it.

I've gotta get some fucking sleep but I'm serious when I say this. Previously I mentioned about the whole law suits thing and that is very serious and true. They've already had to remove some stuff in the past due to threats of lawsuits and even more then that actual law suits that went through. There is even an author who I will not name because it's their right to do so, who has recently threatened one against this site. So if you care about being able to use this site at all please think about your actions when telling others about it. It's fine to want your friends to know about it but don't spread it around openly. At the end of the day, because they make no profit off this site they have no way to defend against a lawsuit, let alone multiple ones and furthermore I wouldn't blame them if they got tired of getting those period. When push comes to shove if you make it harder for those running the site and such, what do you think will happen? It would be easier to just get rid of it altogether then stick around and try to defend it because some of you don't know how to 1. keep your mouths shut. and 2. dont know when you have a good thing.
So just please think about what you are doing and realize that gaining a little attention out of trying to spread it around is not worth it. And even the mangas you're trying to promote or introduce to others by doing so, it's counter productive. They wont be able to read the manga if they dont have access to the site.

At the very least I still try to buy paperback mangas and support the authors since I love the art and stories. Love to collect mangas but this site is also good for ones that can't be purchased in a store or ordered. But yeah im still a raggedy bitch too sometimes when im broke. Calling myself out here so don't take this personally.
Same. There are a lot of manga I still own physical copies of, but some are just simply not available in my area due to age or popularity. And sometimes it’s also because of the genre which makes them harder to get. I still try to support the author however I can though if I have the money to do so.
As Mangago has had it's fair share of beef with authors even recently(like law suits), it would not surprise me if the site goes down or may be undergoing changes to avoid such a thing happening. But mentioning these things or Mangago openly on other sites such as twitter does not help the situation so if you are getting the temporary band or just worried in general just be patient okay. It's not easy and can be worrying but it's the best thing to do rather then flooding the site or refreshing it so much cause it makes it harder for the site in general.
