Swapping, i think the 8.9 rating comes from its confusing storyline (if you're not that into politics or business stuff )and that the mc and mls relationship r kinda rough(theyre both lowk toxic lol but the best kind ive seen so far) but its really good trust

So bizarre to me that this has 8.9. It handles the topic of the effects of rape (it starts with the inciting event, and the mc spends the story dealing with the effects) but in a really visceral way. This author writes beautiful characters.
