slow burn, but i cant help but feel that its required for a story this complex. johaness is my favorite part of this all: shuli is realistic in her maternal tendencies because she saw him as her saviour. in doing so, the story is able to get away with being all fluff but not filler, where her relationship with the children has is crucial to the story rather than a plot point as most "step-mother" stories do. romance takes a much deserved backseat!
