So I’ve just read beyond this part in the novel and there needs to be a trigger warning for some readers.
Just after this Isaac goes into heat and Cole attempts to rape him (no penetration but he does sexually assault him), but Cole does manage to mark him (full on bites his nape) before Felix gets there to save the day. Felix manages to reverse the bond by marking Isaac and saves everyone, he then joins Isaac in his heat and he then goes into his rut (rut not detailed in the novel). They kind of get engaged during this point but idk it was hard to really follow.
