If they weren’t being controlled by magic then it would be a different story. But the majority were under the spell and she finally broke it, now they have to live with what “they done”. So honestly, it was none of their fault. If you notice, she was reading their conscious, and its completely the opposite of what they were doing and thinking.
If they were controlled, they might continue their life and live with what "they done".
But don't involve her in their life. It's unfair to her who actually experienced what they had done painfully
