something doesn't have to be tagged as yaoi solely for it to have R19 content in it btw, it's a general term for a story that features a romantic relationship between two men which doesn't mean it has to be purely smut based, this series actually futures sexual scenes between the 2 main characters tho it's not overly explicit due to this story being a manhua so there's no lightsabers or penis drawn.

That’s not true. The genre “Yaoi” can center on romantic aspects but it specifically depicts the sexual relationships between men. If the manhua, manwha, manga, etc. does not include sexual scenes then it needs to be tagged as Shounen-Ai.

I'm well aware of what the terms used to be defined as but Japan has long since absolved the early years definition, mangago still uses the old tagging system and has not updated to any new terminology. As of 2025 yes yaoi can be used interchangeable for both overly explicit and mildly explicit stories featuring male relationships.
I am 176cm, and I often hear people say that I am not cute, that my face is more boyish. It's hurt, because I want to wear cute things and look cute. Reading this manga helps me a lot. (▰˘◡˘▰)
Stop tagging manga that is not yaoi as yaoi just to boost readers number.
