He seems fine in my humble opinion. Y'know how a parent is extremely protective of their child but it's only cuz they love them? I feel like Oushi is like that but in a romantic sense, he never thought to court her cuz protecting her was his priority but now that someone else has stepped in he feels threatened to confess and thinks he still has a chance because he's known Yuki for a long time. He is an ass though for not taking Yuki's feelings into consideration but the text that he just sent probably indicates him wanting to let go and let it happen y'know. If not then, I conclude that Ouschi is not fine
