This just reminds me of that feeling when my friend always crying to me about his verbally toxic bf multiple times until the last straw (which I thought) they finally break up after going on and off repeatedly. But months later she posted a photo of her and him going back together and shove it to my face with laughter.

I don't really blame the ex. Uke never really tried to understand Jin, it even looks like he just put up with Jin since Ido is fine with Jin around. Jin already said he never really talk about himself. If he drops facts about himself just like that, I don't think uke will be that excited. Idk, according to his reaction whenever Jin is around, he might just be like "oh uh, that's great!" kind of awkward responses. And I don't actually think he is sad that Jin never really said anything to him, he just felt humiliated knowing it from an ex. I don't think he would care to ask about Jin directly if the ex didn't tell anything to him.

Also I'm not trying to justify whatever Jin's action is in the next chapter, I just see some comments blaming the ex.
