I have seen a lot of exhausting and repetitive discourse about reading bl vs any other type of comic on here and on twitter and am curious to hear what people think. I started reading bl when I was very young and ive read for a lot of different reasons, but when I read something realllllly good I remember that I love love love romance without typical gender dynamics because power, softness, longing etc don’t fall into the same tired roles. wo that you can really tell that charcters are soul bonding. idk. that's why I usually hate overly fem ass bottoms and idgaf tops but the hating is low-key fun too lol
